Why Concrete Scanning Matters
Scanning and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) are non-intrusive testing methods used to assess what lies beneath concrete and other surfaces without causing damage.
Concrete scanning uses electromagnetic signals to locate and measure the depth of steel reinforcement (rebar) within concrete. GPR scanning uses high-frequency radio waves to detect and map subsurface features such as rebar, post-tension cables, voids, and utilities.
Together, these methods help engineers evaluate structural integrity and plan safe drilling, cutting, or coring activities.

On-site scanning works can be firmed up with formal reports to interpret and consolidate scan findings.
Reveal rebar layouts, diameter, spacing, and depth to ensure work matches engineering requirements.
Prevents accidental damage to hidden rebar, cables, or utilities, reducing safety risks during drilling or cutting.
